Shenandoah

A recent trip with my daughter scraped me off of my black and white streak, reintroducing me to color again. Dedicated in December 26, 1935, Shenandoah National Park occupies nearly 200,000 acres of wilderness, waterfalls, mountain streams and pastoral landscapes.

The scenic vistas, granite boulders and textures of the mountain ranges and meadows provide a distinct contrast to the flat wetlands and swamps of Southeastern Va. In this series I continue to explore spaces with limited interference from the distractions of humanity.
